[Amazon] Armytek Elf C2 Headlamp - Rechargeable 18650 Li-Ion Battery, 980 Lumens, Waterproof

Was researching different headlamps. Reviewed well by a few different forums, Canadian made, and $20-30 off depending on the model. Haven't found it cheaper! Just picked one up. Website retails these for 65USD.

Edit: Looks like the warm light sold out. White still available: White Light Version: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07433XVJV/ref ... 4CbTKRJW5D

Couldn't find many reviews to compare this vs elf V2, but also on sale: Armytek Tiara C1 Pro Warm XP-L: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B075SYV5KL/ref ... 4Cb3AD10SH

yeah, it's 11:30pm and now I'm watching video reviews of a flashlight that I don't really need... so thanks for that OP

As a flashlight snob with Nitecore, Skilhunt, Zebralights.... this is a good price. That being sad, I really like red LED as nightlights so if I was left with only two lights, I'd go with Nitecore HC65 and Nitecore NU25.

Not seeing battery life, and looks like there isn't a clip for the bike attachment? (shows a picture but no added clip?)

this is a regular flashlight with a head mount, don't get it mixed up with a normal headlamp that is lighter weight and can be worn for longer without fatigue

Manufacture.

Website seems complete and not at all screaming Chinese translation. The lights are not made in Canada made in China but overall the specs and data they have on website seems solid enough to know your not buying a Chinese lemon.

Also at $28 usd another light with no battery. Batteries can be hard to come by
This is a lnk ..

Link says item unavailable. Then suggests this link: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07433XVJV/ref=dp_cerb_1

Purchased one.

I already have an Armytek "Wizard" headlight. It's been an excellent performer. Very bright when set to brightest mode. It's great when you need a lot of light when working on circuit boards, under the car, plumbing under the sink etc. My wizard has fallen six feet to a concrete floor several times and still works. I consider it an essential tool.

Fifty bucks + tax is a good deal, especially if you already have flashlights that use 18650 batteries.

Thanks OP

I read the exact same thing, but decided that the price point made this guy more worth it. I couldn't find the HC65 for a decent price, and was worried about the built in battery for Nitecore NU25 for cold temps. I've been waiting for the Nitecore to drop for ages... Never has

Update once you've used it a bit! I just ordered one... Figured why not. The 10 year warranty is attractive. Probably just going to buy some cheapo aliexpress bike mount for it.

Will do! Won't get a chance to use it for real until I take it portaging in 2 weeks though

It seems solid. I already dropped it from 5ft by accident while showing off the magnet base to the SO. No scratch even.

Rocking a "XANES"/Boruit D10, sold under other names/model, takes a 18650, weatherproof, charges via microUSB, dirt cheap at about $20 with Speedpak delivery and relatively lightweight at 81g without the battery.

XML2 clone emitter with a good neutral white tint, UI is easy to use but doesn't remember the last setting, turns on medium, hold and it goes through 5 brightness levels.

https://www.ebay.ca/itm/8000LM-XM-L2-LE ... 3736861295

Seems like it will be good for modding as well, can take a TIR lens and the emitter can be swapped to a better efficiency/binning but they work fine for me stock.

Here's perhaps a better listing. Double L2, and still cheaper: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Waterproof-USB- ... SCYyAoTKrQ

Single emitter is plenty for me really, found another listing with Speedpak shipping, so 1-2 weeks delivery vs regular airmail that can take up to 2-3 months

$15
