[Amazon.com] Bose QC35 Series II - $299 (USD)

Long-time reader, first time poster! Just ordered the Bose QC 35 online yesterday and noticed that they've gone on sale south of the border on Amazon, WalMart and maybe a few other spots. Good savings for a product that rarely goes on sale if you've got the capability to snag it from the US, and hopefully a sign that they'll be on sale up here soon!

So 300 USD is about 400 CAD, and for $50 more you can buy them on Amazon.ca.

$50 is a decent savings, but they never come on sale in Canada?

Believe that was for the series one version of the headphones. These are series two, and unless I'm mistaken I've never seen them on sale.

Keep your eyes open, maybe we'll see a parallel sale in Canada sometime soon.

Wow...didn’t realize these are such well reviewed headphones...I have series 1 of these headphones which I received as a gift in dec 2016 and haven’t opened it yet.

The noise canceling is the real star, worth it if you're in noisy environments or fly a lot. Other ANC headphones can't touch it in that regard.

For those who want to save some cash, look for the wired QC25. Was half price on Prime Day but I'm sure they'll be other sales.

They do go on sale, but only sometimes. As someone mentioned in the thread, on ebay and Amazon, they had been down to $399 CAD. I got mine from Amazon for $395, taxes inclusive in Feb this year and I love these headphones. I fly every week and sometimes I put them on without music, just to activate noise cancellation and go to sleep

I saw a test where the Sony's are quieter in office environments ie; around conversations. I gotta say QC35's are so comfortable I fall asleep with them on at night all the time.

Be cautious on any Bose QuietComforts that might be at a 'good' price from places like e-Bay as there are a lot of counterfeits out there.

If you really want to save some cash, look for an used pair of QC15s and just replace the ear pads if they are in bad shape. The QC15's noise reduction and sound profile is very similar to the QC25's. The main advantage of the QC25's is that it can work as a regular set of headphones if the battery is dead. On the QC15, you can't do that.

Are they so much better than the QC25 that it is worth an extra hundred dollars US plus tax?
