Great price! I have had this installed for about a year and it has worked flawlessly. Easy to install (I needed to add a transformer) and has stayed connected without issue, including throughout winter.

Is the downgrade from the 2k a big deal in this case?

Keep the $55 ring doorbell which didn't come with a chime and requires subscription or buy this?

Your call. If you have other Ring products and have its ecosystem going then maybe stick with Ring?
Otherwise, I don't want to pay for subscription and the eufy doorbell has been perfect for my needs.

I also bought the ring floodlights but didn't put them up yet. Having second thoughts now after looking at the pricing. If they allowed two houses to be covered under one plan then I would stick with them. Otherwise I can wait for the wyze floodlight to come out
