The Plus differences are very minor, and the Plus has also been on sale in Canada frequently for $25-$30. I bought my K400+ from BB last year for $27.

Thanks for the video, I was quick to judge this as a lousy deal.

I have original K400 and it is okay. Lasted many years, very durable, and easy to type on, though also ghetto feeling key presses and some squeakiness of the frame/case at this point. With the duration I've used it, I wonder if I should have got myself something fancier!

One complaint I have about the K400 Plus is that while I'm typing (with two fingers) some part of my finger or hand occasionally brushes the touch-pad, which causes the cursor to move to a random spot on the screen. When I look up to see what I've typed, the text is inserted in some unwanted spot or non-existent. I wish there was a key to enable/disable the touch-pad.
