in for 5, will see if it ships, my wife just bought one in japan, been using it in the last 2 month without any adaptor, no issues so far, just don't put it in the highest setting, could potentially over heat I guess

Thanks for the input.. for the price I guess I will cave. What is the skin mode used for? And the highest setting would be the "turbo" one? So do you just use the "dry" mode?
Also does anyone know if we are able to use the ebates.com site to get cashback for this? That would make the deal even hotter if the orders go through with a $10 sign up bonus

I assume there's a digit missing. $251.5X would make more sense.
Oh well... maybe we will get lucky. In for 2

No you can't. HK and china has 220 volts and this one is 100 volts, if i'm not wrong you can't use it even with the step down converter...cause you need to step up..and not step down while using in HK and chinaThatdealguy wrote: ↑ Can I use this in HK or China without using step down converter ?

no he needs to use step down cuz the input will be 220V so he needs to reduce from 220V to 100V otherwise it will be 2.2x times overloaded. For canada the input is 110V so it is 10% overloaded which is not a big deal in most case.

This might be able to use in US/CA since it is ship and sold by Amazon.com
If you see the previous 3camel history, all of them are sold by 3rd parties. The reviews are people who bought from a 3rd party (aka import from Japan)
I am guessing it is a NorthAmerican version. T&Tsupermarket is selling the import ones.

My stomach lurched a little. I just bought the Panasonic EH-NA57 for $180 CAD like 2/3 weeks ago. Its a cute, lightweight little hairdryer, it can flip between 100-120V / 200-240V, because its designed to be a travel hairdryer, but $38 USD.....

If I need to use this 100V in China (220V), I would need to step up.kwanyeung20 wrote: ↑ no he needs to use step down cuz the input will be 220V so he needs to reduce from 220V to 100V otherwise it will be 2.2x times overloaded. This may be true because other listings that are for the Japanese market state it in the product title: Panasonic hair dryer nano care White EH-NA98-W(Japan Import-No Warranty)Thatdealguy wrote: ↑ This might be able to use in US/CA since it is ship and sold by Amazon.com

This is a preorder for a model being shipped and sold by amazon.com in the US, we may luck out here and get a 120V model that is just reaching the US market.
