Princess Auto has the Xtreme running buddy xtremecables.net/runningbuddycliponwirelessaudioreceiver.aspx for 14.99 princessauto.com/en/detail/bluetooth-receiver-with-earbuds/A-p8702813e I picked one up the other day so I can use my Sony Wired headphones with bluetooth devices. It can also play mp3s from microsd card & a microphone.

one last question, do you have a rough idea of the distance these are good for? i'm thinking more for my HTPC (about 8 feet away) than say an mp3 player in my pocket.

These does not have Apt-x for better sound. OP posted model has Apt-x and different modes. Also its can be switched as receiver or transmitter.
Only thing is size, if i want to make my non-blutooth headphone bluethooth enabled. but then it has good battery capacity. wish it would be power bank as well.

Edit: realized its .com

I wasn't comparing the 2 just giving an alternative for those who want a local store & receiver only. Because as you noticed the OP's deal is american only.

For me it works for what I will use it for. I just have to check the battery life still. Android Media player, Android Tablet, Running using as a MP3 player replacement. New phone once I decide to pull the trigger on the ZTE Nubia Z7 Max.

the op deal is easy to get if u worried about ship in us only.it is a so small item, i used https://www.mymallbox.com/shippingCalculator.jsp (no shitty annual fee except for shipping) ship cost is between 2.00$ to 3.79$ usps airmail (5-12 business days)

this item quality is so much better than the other one from princess auto, but it is my opinion

That's exactly what I did, was use Mymallbox. I recently ordered a different Bluetooth receiver/transmitter from amazon.com and it was like $2.86 USD for USPS non tracking shipping. This one looks like a great deal.

i already have a MyMallBox account, but assumed this would be bigger/heavier so as to make shipping too expensive, the lowest i've gotten cellphones down to was about $9 (which i consider very good) but had assumed this would cost more, $4 is very reasonable.
