I looked into this earlier today -

A decent deal if you've been looking for one but it has been lower before (if you can wait this will hit $49 for holidays).
Converts to around $69 CAD after import fees.

... so the other place to find gaming mouse is look at staples clearance section when they have the 25% off clearance. It's YMMV but if you're at staples anyways, remember to check. There's usually a random stash there that they can't get rid of.

I don't play that many games anymore, but gaming mouse (and keywords) are great for day to day use!

EDIT > btw I also have this mouse and it's good. I'd wait for cheaper price as I don't feel like it's anymore or less spectacular than any of the other gaming mice. Just solid quality.

This is a good mouse. I bought it 2 weeks ago and I've been very happy with it.

Razer have the shittiest quality for their computer peripherals.

The rubber where the thumb rest was worn down to the plastic within 3 month of usage.

I've only ever used deathadder mice (well I had some ugly mini microsoft mice before that but those don't count) so I don't know how good it is compared to other mice, but all I know is that all my mice eventually succumb to one of two problems:

1) the clip that "bounces" the click back up gets slowly bent out of shape, meaning your single clicks start triggering twice with greater and greater frequency (also when you are dragging, sometimes it'll trigger as a new click halfway through.... really annoying if you're dragging around and suddenly it triggers as a double click on your window and maximizes the window)

2) scroll wheel fails. It's held in by some thin plastic thing... sometimes it fails.

I've fixed both myself though. 1) is a bit tricky to reassemble the clip, but ultimately ur just taking the clip out, bending it a bit back into shape, and putting it back in. 2) no good solution. One of my mice, i drilled a hole thru the scroll wheel and replaced it with a wooden skewer to hold it into place. It was a pain in the ass though.

unfortunately, I've used mouse for so long now that most other mouse shapes feel uncomfortable to me, and im too scared to try other mice with similar shapes.
I hope the newer ones are better

I've been solely using the 2013 blue edition deathadder since.... 2013. All sorts of heavy gaming and haven't had a single issue and still feels as clicky as day one.

Wait until you get the self double clicking issue starting right after your warranty is up... return it while you still can.

can confirm for bad quality and double clicking problem. Owned 2 razer deathadders before, and I now switched to a Logitech G403. If it wasnt for cheap build quality and double click, its a terrific feeling mouse. Only buy if youre planning only to get about a year or max 2 years worth out of it.
