[Amazon.com] US Only: Facebook Portal $99USD

Just saw this on the american AZ site, it's $300 CAD right now on the Canadian website. Worth the consideration if you have a PO Box on the border or something. Cheers.

Gonna be a no for me especially since it's from Facebook.

I really can’t see myself buying one of these. This feels like Facebook moving into the tech market more and I see this product of more as a beta tbh

I'm all for voice assistants and IoT but Facebook is just a scummy company that had shown time and time again that they can't be trusted. At least Google and Amazon are upfront with what they do with your info

Yup, I would get it for my mom to call family overseas, currently gave her a tablet with just whatsApp, anyone know if WhatsApp is enabled on this this yet?? I also wish they had a physical switch cover for the camera like the Lenovo, I know my kids would lose the plastic camera cover in the first 5 minutes.
