The refoss opener is available for a similar price after conversion, and it lets you avoid the inconsistently reviewed MyQ app. If you're not afraid of a little wiring it's a good choice, and if you don't have a garage door that requires their security accessory, you can get away from needing a battery:

Does anyone know if you can use to control newer wifi enabled myq chamberlain garage door openers (since the newer GDO no longer support older rolling code remotes or homelink)

myq i have it before changed to refoss, always said disconnected with their server, I tried to call them and ask, no proper response. it became a garbage.

Refoss works great. I use it with Meross app which has more features than refoss app apparently

Bought this some time ago.. paid a few bucks more but its worth it. Was easy to install works with my chamberlain garage opener. My old remote is also paired and still works, if I open it with the normal remote the app tells me the door is open because the unit on the door detects it open/closed due to how its oriented. No issues thus far - I use the app ever so often to ensure it still works because I park outside most times.. guess I bought it cause its cool?! or rfd either or

Be mindful that you cannot setup any auto-open routines with this opener.

The other piece to keep in mind is it depends on a door sensor which is powered off a watch battery and needs to be replaced about every 6-9 months.

It essentially is a garage door remote that lives inside your garage and connects to your Wifi (2.4ghz).
