It's held this price pretty constantly for the last while, so anyone on the fence shouldn't feel the need to bite now.

Etekcity is also up there with Aukey and some other brands for sheer number of sponsored or paid reviews. It's really hard to take any of their products seriously.

This lantern works decent, but the quality is not great - and its probably smaller than you think.

Nice deal, bought two! Can't have enough lights for power outages.

Got one before for $12. Not the greatest. Would be sort of just adequate for lighting very small areas. I would rate it below $5 for value.

So last summer I bought a few of these for our super summer of camping (I had parental leave for our youngest)

There are a few different flavors of these. They come in 3300mAH, 6600mAH, and 9900mAH. Also some of the smallest ones have a magnetic base. And the wattage of the bulbs is 3W or 5W. These are great. I have one 3300 and 2 6600. The 6600s worked all week on the low setting for a night light for the babies in the tent with power left to spare. The small one is great with it's magnetic base as I now keep it in the garage for doing work on the car. They are a little expensive but they are worth every penny.

Ebay has a very similar looking lantern for $6.94 but shipped from China. Not sure if it's a knockoff or same manufacturer with different branding.
Sorry to bump an old thread (which by the way the lantern is now at $14), but I was wondering if anyone has experience with this "knock off" lantern?
