Amazon Household?

Hi,
Anyone understand why Amazon Household is not available in Canada? I found out that Amazon Canada doesn't allow household account sharing like they do in the US here:

https://www.amazon.com/myh/households

I was then trying to setup some limits on my son's access but Amazon parental controls ( free time ) are also missing from Canada.

Seems like a key components that are missing from Amazon Canada when we pay the same plan...

I was tryting to do the Amazon household in Canada too but I soon realized its Not available for Canadians. Oh well, it just means I login with my Wifes account to use Amazon Prime instead of linking it with my credentials. no biggie

Would love to put my wife on the Teens setting:
Teens (13-17 years old)
Teen logins allow teens to shop on their own and parents approve the order with a simple text. Teens may also access certain Prime benefits if their parents are a Prime member. Learn more

I find it frustrating some of the cool features like Household aren't available here for no particular reason. I guess there's more profit in them not doing that

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I encountered this lack of Amazon Household in Canada a few years ago - but I managed a workaround for someone that lived in my house. They even added their own devices, we each logged into our amazon accounts on our separate devices, and all worked well. Now that person has moved out, taken their devices but our accounts are still linked! They see my shopping list, I cannot "deregister" their devices from my account. Only option I see is "restore device to factory default" which I've done a few times, the device is gone from my list, only to reappear again the next day!

I've tried going through the settings on amazon.ca and alexa.amazon.ca and nothing there at all. I've tried logging into the US sites, but it bounces me immediately to the Canadian sites. I'm literally at a loss here. Seems the only way around this is to open brand new accounts each and start from square one again?

Wondering if anyone else is having similar issues. Thanks!

Household still not available in Canada. Without knowing what you did as a workaround, impossible to say how to undo it.

when i lived in my parents house, my dad used my prime account. he had his own card there, and own address with a different name and same address.

last year, i bought my own house. my dad still uses my account. he ships stuff to his house (and occasionally to my house) and i ship stuff to my house (and occasionally to his house). we buy things at least a few times a week from amazon, we have had many interactions with customer service, no one has ever said anything about having multiple ship-to names and addresses.

i dont think they really mind
