My wife makes me use it, she is not a dermatologist so I am not sure why that is a good argument. Yet, I didn’t want to leave an empty topic body.

2. How prone are you to breakouts?
3. How much does the wash help prevent breakouts?
4. How much does the wash help with breakouts?

1. not oily at all.
2. Not much
3. More than 10 years since last breakout
4. I don’t have acne so I that is one thing less to worry about.

I personally just use it as a face wash. I am sure it’s better than soap.

I use the Neutrogena acne washes. It has a bit of salicylic acid which is what helps prevent the breakouts. You need to scrub up and let it sit on your face for a minute or so before rinsing it off.
It depends on your skin of course and how severe your acne is/was.
Having done multiple rounds of Accutane in the past, this type of wash helps combat the minor acne that can still flare up from time to time.

Edit: do not use this wash while you are actively on Accutane.
