I haven't seen a sale on these in forever. And the last time was probably some kind of closing sale.

Well that made me spend a lot more money than I thought I would today. Got a Cloudlifter too...

I've been looking at getting one of these for ages. Seeing this price finally made me pull the trigger! Thanks, OP.

Damn, it wasn't that long ago you paid $400 for a used one.

Dang, I don't see anymore for that price. Were they sold and shipped by Amazon?

Deal done? Seeing $509…
The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten....

Really good price op, but yeah, back up to $508.00 which to me is still good. Got one a while ago for $520.00 and very happy with it using a Cloudlifter.

Not me, I do use it to talk on twitch but mainly for school online classes and zoom type meetings. Will use it for singing too. I really wanted the RE20, but people have issues with interference, and you need a shockmount which is $150 for the EV one. Then there is foam inside that dries out over time and needs to be replaced.

About the Cloudlifter/fethead/dynamite: if you can, skip those and just buy a sufficiently powerful interface at the start. I like GoXLR Mini, but most modern interfaces are good enough now.

And before you get an SM7B, maybe try this blind test of some dynamic mics. Sort them into quality tiers. Might help someone decide what to get or not get. https://aoeus.com/dyn2/

Here's a nice video with a lot of different mic audio samples too:

Yeah Loomy, there are tons of different ways to go. I went with a Behringer UMC204HD and Cloudlifer, saved $100 over a XLR Mini plus it has 2 inputs which is what I need. For sure you can get a cheaper mic but I would have regretted not getting the sm7b first. It all depends on personal needs and preferences.
