Same motor and metal body from what I've read, just fewer stitch patterns. I believe it goes down to $69 from time to time which is probably the time to buy it. I want one so I can sew seat cushions, carpets, hem jeans etc but I'm not sure if you were "getting in to sewing" you'd want this.

Based on the fact that OP posted nothing but Amazon deals, and all of the OP's deal posts are now missing their links, I'm guessing they were banned for posting Amazon referral links. Weird that the mods left the posts in hot deals and didn't replace the links, though.

It was $150 when the deal was posted, jumped up to 209 now. But 3 camels had it at like 165 from April to September, then 153 for August/September, then $190 from September till the sale was posted the other day. Basically, it's all over the place.
