Amazon - Stuck on Shipping Label Created

Got an Amazon order. Amazon says the package is shipped. Purlator tracking says "shipping label created". It has been stuck on this stage for like 10 days in Ottawa. Any idea on whats up? Amazon has offered to refund my money, but I would rather just get my package. Amazon reps said it has been shipped and Purolator has it. Purolator keeps saying they don't....

This usually means that the shipping label is created for Purolator (the the sticker label is stuck on the box) and the box is waiting for Purolator to pick it up. Usually it doesn't take this long for Purolator to pick up the package but every shipping company is just swamped right now. Just be patient. I have waited about 3 to 4 weeks for some of my Amazon stuff.

Thanks. Do you thuink I will see my stuff? I am worried why the Amazon rep said it was in transit (although he was outsourced)

In a lot of cases with busy companies Who have large shipments regularly Purolator picks up the shipment and then scans it later (they do this at my company’s warehouse too). It might be stuck in their warehouse. It’s happened to me a few times, and I never saw movement online until the day it shows up - the tracking switches to picked up/processed/processed in new city/out for delivery all at once.

The weird thing is Purolator is adamant they don't have it, and that it would show 'scanned' once it is in their system :S

What ended up happening? I've got a few Purolator packages in the same situation and in each case the seller is adamant Purolator has it.

We ha EA this happen a few times a month with USPS. It's really frustrating as customers get iretated because it looks like we haven't shipped their order. For whatever reason when it gets scanned along the way it still doesn't show any movement. Then, next thing you know it's delivered.

We use UPS for most of our freight and they're solid. Every package service makes errors now and again and UPS seems to make fewer and is easier to deal with when they do happen.

You can click on "Track package" in your account and see the details you didn't expect. In my experience, in the past few month Amazon.ca started shipping many packages from the US. It's not obvious, no mention of it anywhere. Sometimes I get a shipping notice with an ETA in a week while it is delivered by Intelcom. Intelcom usually delivers overnight. When I click "Track package" on the Amazon website it shows the package left Amazon warehouse in California, then Kentucky, then somewhere else, then Intelcom got it and delivered by the ETA. If your ETA hasn't passed yet I wouldn't worry.
