Amazon subscribe & save

I have an Amazon prime membership there is an item I want to purchase that has the option of 25% off with subscribe and save. The item is something I would only purchase 1 time. How does that work? Can I use the coupon for 25% off and then cancel the subscription?

I have a question on this program as well. If i choose the subscribe and save option, will the subsequent orders be the same price as the initial order? Or will it be at whatever price it is selling at the time of shipment?

S & S don't lock in the price so if u order thing for $5 and it goes up to $10 or 20 when your next shipment goes out u will be paying the higher price.

on top of that if u don't have prime they removed the option for free shipping under $35 for the first shipment of S & S only follow up shipments are free under 35. for the first one u have to put other stuff into the order to get it upto 35 if ur not prime.
