[Amazon.com] TDL-7120 Wireless 10 LED motion activated light for closet $13

Hey guys, ive been looking for some led light bars for a couple things and got an email about these and thought its a decent deal.
There battery operated so i hope the batteries last a decent amount of time. We want one for stairs and wife wants one in closet.

coupon code 4TLIJQMI brings price to 12.99

Seems if u buy to u get $14 savings and amazon said if purchasing 1 the code will work at start at 01:00 PM (PT)

Anyone have any review on these motion activated lights how are they in closets?

How do you get the code to work? It says The promotional code you entered is for an offer that has not yet begun.

Does anyone else have a hate-on for products that use AAA batteries? The size advantage is minor in most cases (compared to AAs), but they cost more and don't last.

Ah, why not, looks useful. Ordered, coupon code works. Time to wait for sale on eneloops/AmazonBasics or just go for the Ikea LADDAs. For 4 lights I'm going to need 16 batteries, yikes.

I been using one for a few months. Pretty neat, but drain battery quite quickly. Expect each battery to last a month or two on regular use. Rechargeable battery highly recommended.

Agreed especially in this product which is thick enough to allow for AA. AA hold much more capacity and cost less, it's crazy that so many of these cheap products still use AAA

"This will only turn on if current room is dark.". Question is how dark? Top of the stairs leading to my condo isn't pitch black, but it's dark enough that I can't see the darn keypad buttons on the lock. I wonder if there's a way to turn off/disconnect the light sensor in that thing.

Not to derail the thread or anything, but does anyone know if anyone sells these that are not motion sensitive? I'm looking for something similar but with a switch to turn it on and off. Battery powered as well.
