AMD 2600X Buy now or wait for Black Friday?

I'm building a new computer around the end of November. Right now there is a Ebay coupon for 20$ off any order over 100$, effectively bringing the price of a AMD 2600x down to 250 plus tax, which seems like a decent deal.

I'm wondering if historically, mainstream processors go on sale Black Friday/Cyber Monday? or if now would be the best time to bite the bullet.

Thanks in advance

$250 was pretty much the sales price last year during sales for the 1600X (October and BF), and also the price dropped to $250 when the 2600X came out. So at $250, that's probably as good as it'll get for the 2600X, unless AMD wants to give some sort of crazy discount.

The other thing to consider is buying it now means you have one in hand. Buying it on BF, if it's a crazy sale, it could be limited in quantity and you are battling the rest of Canada for one. Good chance it may go OOS.

There was a 10% off deal on ebay yesterday. That would have brought the price down the $243. The promo is over now, but hopefully you got that or the $20 off one.

IMHO, there's a lot of demand out there for desktop processors right now. According to both AMD's and INTEL's latest quarters, their desktop processor business has been booming as such I would not expect either to drop their prices as it seems that we are in the middle of a desktop computer revival (probably due to e-Sports) so there enough business to go around.
