It is easy to check if the motherboard supports the CPU.
This motherboard supports the 5500 from BIOS version F62
BIOS version F62 was released 2022/02/09

I will mainly play shooting games like call of duty MW II and freeroam GTA V, as long as i can play the newest games on 1080p. Is bios easy to update?

Depending on what you're paying for the GTX 1660 Super... maybe consider something from the current generation line up. There were lots of deals on RX6600/6650 around black friday. Scooping up a used RTX 3060 might not be a bad idea either if you're ok with used cards.
