pair this withASUS Prime X470-Pro for 129$ and XPG Gammix D10 3200MHz (PC4 25600) 16G (8GBx2) Memory Module Kit Black for 85$ NO TAX and you've got yourself a solid sub 500$ start of a build.

PSU: Corsair CP-9020179-NA RMX Series RM750x 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular 120$
NVME SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB 105$
Case: Phanteks ECLIPSE P350X 99$

Total before tax: 740$ BEFORE TAX before GPU
Total after tax: 838$ Before GPU
sub 1k great gaming build with the convenience of all parts shipping from the same place. Just need to add the GPU of your choice

is x470 of any benefit? Why not pick up this B450 board for $90? https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07FWY ... UTF8&psc=1

edited, didn't put one because people needs varies from 1080p, 1440p, 4k. Up to them to decide what they need, also there aren't such great deals on GPU this year sadly

Little future proofing.
Roughly a year ago on launch the 2700x was almost 450$+ and now a year later it's 200$! If AMD maintain their current momentum which I have no doubt that they will, I suspect Other recently released CPU's like the 3700x, 3800x or even the 3900x might also see huge discounts like this 2700x over the same period. In that case, this MOBO would be great for upgrading to either of those.

This for $199 or the Ryzen 5 2600x for $145? I’m just interested in building a budget rig for simulations like Flight Simulator 2020 once released and F1 2019
