I just checked and my offer is somewhat worse:

Spend $200 or more and Earn a $10 credit. Up to $40 in credits.

I have the same on my Amex Air Miles too. Bonvoy and MR card doesn't have this offer.

got the same offer as yours, not worth it tbh.
which now makes me wonder if these new amexx offers are user specific. if that is the case i will not use the 10$ for 200$ let them think i am not interested and hopefully they up the credit to get me interested

Does it mean we can buy 50$ 4 times and get 20$?

I have no idea what you calculated in your mind. The OP offer is $20 max credit; your offer is $40 max credit and you want to trade off??? Keep in mind that you get to spend $200 @ any store that you want, not a specific store/ items. If you think you cannot spend $200 in 1 transaction then I suggest you buy $200 worth of GC for stores that you like. For example you can spend $200 at Metro or Shoppers Drug Mart to buy restaurant, clothing gift card. You know that right?

I guess each of 4 different types of mobile wallet, since they have different virtual card number.

oh i get that but this offer is a joke compare to other offers they had in the past. it is not worth me spending 200$ on GC to only get 10$ back thats only 5%
nonetheless a deal is a deal i guess and if someone in the market for it then its a win !

I think this deal is reasonable, it's 5% cash back on top of your Amex earn rate for your usual expenses.
To be eligible for a $10 (CAD) statement credit, one single qualifying purchase or cumulative qualifying purchases that total $200 (CAD) or more, after taxes and shipping, must be charged to your registered Card during the offer
This also indicates that it does not have to be one transaction.

BTW,I got the $200 get $10 promo.

I used apple pay for 1 transaction of $100 and got $10 credit, so I guess $20 for every $50 spent regardless of method of payment.

Was your offer based on that or was it what's in OP? I've got the spend 50 get 5 as well so was thinking of doing a$100 transaction to see if I'd get$10 back.

Looks like this offer can be registered to different Amex cards. I have Bonvoy.

I guess its for people who don't use mobile spend very often.

My amex's didn't get this offer but i use apple pay on it pretty much constantly.

I got the $10 bonus for $200 spend on my most used card for mobile spend (Cobalt), and the $5 for $50 spend on my relatively new Marriott. My wife got the $5 for $50 on her new Cobalt which hadn't yet been used.

I got the the $10 per $200 spend on my Cobalt, but nothing for my Bonvoy. If I read the terms and conditions correctly, as long as you spend $200 using the specified mobile wallet apps by the deadline (either in a single purchase or through multiple purchases), you should get the $10. If you spend $1000 by the deadline, you'd get $40. It's better than nothing, but I got burned by the recent Shop Small promotion where I didn't get the bonus.
