Looking at my Cobalt account, they currently have it as 1000 points = $ 10 for all categories rather than 1000 points for $7 on non travel categories

yeah, sucks, because right now I have $0.00 balance but wouldn't mind using it against my previous purchases. I guess time to use this card again for the next 3 months.

I don’t see this offer in my Amex mobile app and don’t see it under offers either for my personal platinum. I did receive an email about my travel credit being extended for use to September though. Is this ymmv?

I see that I can apply 1000 for $20. Is this the best way to spend points? I don’t see anything about the double points on restaurant spend.

I would think this is not targeted. Every cardholder would get double rewards.

hrm ~200k points is $4000.
Was initially saving this up for a 1st class flight but I have no idea how flights and loyalty programs will be like in a year...
Maybe I should just use up some of these points to pay my taxes or something.

Same here, I guess I'll start using it for regular day to day purchases as it’s effectively at least 2% cash back for the time being. Another issue I have is that I only have a few hundred dollars worth of eligible spend this year, none of the travel I charged to the card last year shows up on the list.

It’s technically minimum 4% for purchases/redemptions in the next 3 months. 2x for purchases and 2x for redemption.
