Any grocery store that sells Uber GCs? I tried PriceSmart, RCSS, and Save-On Foods but can't find in any of them
Is Safeway any better?

Question:
I have a Cobalt and have for years.
My wife now wants a cobalt card due to all the 5x points we would get based on our spending habits. Was going to add a free supplementary card to my card for her. However...
Then I noticed the refer-a-card offer for my Cobalt. They'll give me 5000 points for her approved referral plus up to 30,000 extra points (3 bonus points for $1 she spends on her card which I estimate will actually be about 20,000 points, not 30,000 based on how we spend) between nov25-feb 28 2022. Plus she would get 20,000 points after spending $3000 in her first 3 months, plus 2500 x 12 for spending $500 a month for the first 12 months = 50,000 points + my referral I estimate to be about ~25,000 points. So roughly 75,000 points between us, not including extra points from both our regular spending on our cards. Obviously have to factor the extra $156 she would pay in monthly fee per year.
So,
Option 1: add free supplementary card for her. No extra cost. But more spending and points on our shared card. simplest option.
Option 2: Refer her. Add 75,000 in points between us, minus $156 for her card fee.
Option 3: Refer her. Add 75,000 in points, minus her card fee, THEN cancel my card and have her add a supplementary card for me??? Is this doable?
Option 3 seems like the most advantageous in the long term and worth us both paying the card fee for a year, or even 3 months I guess techincally if I cancelled mine after Feb 28th 2022. But not sure if Amex will let her add a supplementary card for me if I've just cancelled my card...
Thoughts?

Edit: just realized this is the Amex Offers thread; looks like we have gone off topic since it's for 'Amex Offers' that typically come out Mon/Wed/Fri or 1st day of each month.dgonsh wrote: ↑ Question:

I have a very unfortunate DP... I stayed at Westin Bayshore for a night and checked out on Oct 31. The room charge was $250, so I should be able to get the Marriott offer of $50 and Discover BC offer of $50. The unfortunate part is that it appears the hotel just charged my credit card today (Nov 3) and not on Oct 31. This means it is now very very unlikely that I will get the $100 from above . Sigh.
BTW Westin Bayshore sells Marriott gift cards. Bought 2 with 2 other Amex cards on Oct 30 and received the $100 credits on each card.

Not very many offers lately. I thought for sure there would be quite a few decent new ones on Monday seeing as though it was the first Monday of a new month.

Yes, and then I was hopeful about today, since it's Wednesday. Ok, let's see what Friday brings!
p.s. and someone posted about another potential Shop Small in November mirroring Australia Shop Small ... crossing fingers

It would need to be listed in your offers. The DoC post mentions its ymmv, but hopes it will still roll out further.EdisonL299 wrote: ↑ Is there a link for cards issued by Amex US?
