AMEX Platinum card ?

Would it be better to get the business or personal platinum? The business platinum costs less, but there's more with the personal platinum. I rarely travel outside of North America so the priority pass isn't an issue, although it would be nice to have and have the fee covered too... any thoughts?

Thanks!

If you don't use Priority Pass, just go with the business - save yourself the additional 100$.

Does the priority pass make much of difference? Are they much nicer than the plaza premium lounges? Also the annual fee is $399 vs $699. But 50,000 points for the business and 60,000 I think for the personal, also the personal platinum has a $200 credit, the points = $600, the golf membership $295USD, and the priority pass...

It seems like the personal platinum is much better but why even get the business one besides the fact you can use company money to pay for it? Any thoughts? @jerryhung you're the pro!!

Get both? like I do, for many people in the family. Why?
Personal Plat - two $200 credit, travel perks/lounges, and why not get 60K welcome bonus also
Biz Plat - only b/c of 75K welcome bonus and 25K referral

There is no CORRECT answer as everyone is different

If you're not going to travel outside NA, I can't see the PP being of much use. You can use the Amex card in all of Canada, and any Delta lounges in the US.
Having the priority pass will get you into a couple of more lounges in the US, but they are few and far between (and not very good, for the 2 I've been to.)

The Annual fee is 699 for the personal platinum (but you get 200 back) so it's more like 499. The business platinum is 399, so it's only a 100$ difference at the end of the year. But again, if you're not going to use it, why not save a 100$.
Can't comment on the golf membership because I don't use it.

Unless you travel for golf trips, the golf membership isn't that great. The biggest benefit is you get a free round of golf if you stay two nights or more at a golf resort.
