If anyone wants an affordable beer ($2, 473ml, 5.2%) that tastes anything but cheap, give LOWENBRAU a try.

Maybe add that to the thread title to spare others from getting excited.
Looks like they expanded the free delivery

I can see them saying that in Germany, but for a light beer, LOWENBRAU is my go-to. My fav ATM is MILLENNIUM BUZZ HEMP BEER: https://www.thebeerstore.ca/beers/mille ... hemp-beer/

Good beer. I wouldn't put much trust into a guy like that.

For sure, but he made me laugh. This guy is either drunk and/or stoned.

sounds like a nice summer beer, but you never know with the citrus zest inclusion, if its going to be too fragrant to go through 50 lol
It’s pretty good, space invader is also good. 50 of the same beer could get boring though, only reason I’m not ordering. But the convenience is definitely great

Ordered some last summer when they introduced it; not too fragrant for me and nice refreshing beer. Sent in another order for 50 since the weather is turning nice again.

They sold out and moved from 500ml cans to 473ml marking being produced in london Ontario.

Every Bavarian thinks one brand of beer is best (and I mean THE best) and the rest is for the unwashed. It’s a charming fault of theirs. There are cheaper beers than lauenbrau which the homeless (or backpackers and students alike) would drink. Memories of drinkign piss warm beer kuz it’s cheaper to buy room temp haha

I’ve been to their brewery. It’s a decent beer but recently selling out to produce it in Ontario is an insult to its roots

Amsterdam does decent beer. Price is right for it and they Havnt sold out yet

Goddamn, I remember buying 25 bottle packs from their brewery location down at bathurst and front for $30 maybe 15 years ago... On a $/L scale, this is nearly identical.

I'm a fan of Big Wheel for an all day drinking session, and Boneshaker for a one or two after work kinda thing.

Blonde has more alcohol so it wins.

boneshaker @ $115 for 50 cans works out to $2.30 per

At the LCBO, I vaguely remember this beer being $3+

How is that 10% off? Isn't it more like 23%+ ??

just checked LCBO and beer store online. Boneshaker is $3.55 per can in singles!

Or $74 per 25 cans = $3.08 per in bulk

I'm in Whitby and it went through with free shipping. We'll see if I actually get it, but so far so good. They've already charged my credit card the $114.99.
