as a non-smoker I can only handle that casino for short spurts. The amount of future lung cancer in there is truly staggering.

On the plus side, free booze while you gamble...

@yesstyle "i rather just go to great blue heron"

Seneca is much , much larger though. Many more games + an entertainment centre w/lots of big acts

Wonder how pain in the ass it is to travel across border on a bus. Can’t imagine it’s quick.

You mean they still allow smoking inside? That's just sad.

I have done this tour a few times and it has been an enjoyable day.
Just remember it is a border crossing and you may have to wait a bit for everyone to go through customs .
Also, for new members, you can get a free buffet: https://senecaniagaracasino.com/promoti ... r-sign-up/

Drop by the 1 cent slot machines, find a waitress, ask for a beer, give them a small tip and tell them to keep them coming.
They put the $45 slot play on your card but be careful. If you are a machine and you promo the $45 out at the machine, you have to stay at that machine until you use up the $45. I would suggest taking out a small amount at a time just in case you want to move to a different machine. You can always ask someone for details at the casino and they can explain it better for you.

Pros: the casino has free beer
Cons: the casino allows smoking

As much as I love beer, I hate second hand smoke, so I'm out.

You didn't mention the 'free' bus ride to the charity.

Sorry to rain on the parade and be Captain Obvious, nothing is free with casinos' "free" offers which will turn out to be much costly offers for you.
Currently happy customer with Koodo, Roger and Virgin Mobile.

A few questions which I couldn't find the answers to on my own via the site:

1. How long does the drive there take?

2. What controls are in place to stop you from leaving the group once you get there and arranging your own way back later? Or hopping on the return bus back on a different day?

3. It says you need to have a Social Club Card to be eligible to register, is it a pain in the ass to enroll in this?

When is the return trip?

Also, this casino has a non-smoking section.

Looks like the drive is slotted to take about 2hrs from York Mills to the casino. They give you 5 hrs once there. 11:30AM-4:30PM on Wednesdays, Noon-5PM on Sundays.

I've tried Angel Tours buses to Rama. Nice, modern fleet but no WiFi onboard. Versus Safeway Tours to Fallsview with free, slow WiFi.

https://safewaytours.net/en/casino-tours/

Safeway to Canadian side is definitely more flexible. Multiple buses every day and free to change your return time. With Safeway you could walk over bridge to Seneca Casino but you'd miss out on the $45USD offer.

Went to that casino once because we were given a free voucher with Niagara Falls hotel stay. The smoke stank was overwhelming. We spent the voucher, bought a coffee at American Tims inside for lulz and left. Would’ve stayed had there been no smoke. The smell in the casino was worse than you’d expect .

Quite a few casinos do.
Grey Eagle in Calgary does too since they're on native land.
It's freakin' packed in there since a lot of people still smoke.

That depends on the person.

Technically speaking you're paying $40CAD for this trip.
What you do on the trip is up to you. They don't force you to gamble. You don't even have to use the slot voucher if you don't have to.
Drinks are also free but you probably won't get great service if you don't tip.

If you have self control, these casino offers are great.
I take advantage of similar offers quite often and rarely spend a dime in the casino itself.
Do you not have anything else to do rather than argue with strangers on the internet
Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.

Done it before, buses must go to commercial accepting customs, even if it’s not for a commercial event.

You file out of the bus, into the customs facility, and get your passport checked in person after lining up. They didn’t ask me anything, guess they already knew the purpose and just wanted to process everyone as they just scan and pass you along, provided your admissible.

It would be a great hack if you could take their bus for free with a bag of luggage... take a short uber to the Niagara/Buffalo airport, then return the same way. Would save on gas, parking while flying from BUF.

p.s. Seneca casino is gross... went to check it out a few years ago and left after 10 mins... stick with the Canadian casinos!
