Anker USB-C recall and refunds

http://www.androidpolice.com/2016/08/28 ... -c-cables/

Looks like Anker is recalling their potentially dangerous USB-C cables which don't meet the standards and are giving refunds and offering replacements.

Sounds ok but if you can receive a replacement cable, why wouldn't you? Not sure I'd chance it over a USB cable anyways.

Have one of those Anker cables but a different type (USB-C to USB 3.0). Hope the researcher tested that as well.
