Youtube food vlogger KEEMI has a recent discount code. Use KEEMI20 to save an extra 20% (e.g. for the Anova Presicion Cooker, it'll cost $159.20 before tax). This is stackable with the current Mother's Day promo! Grinning Face With Smiling Eyes

For quick sous-vide (1-2 hours), a simple cooking pot or plastic bin, for long sous-vide (24h and more) I use an 10$ Coleman cooler that I drilled a hole on the top.

Man thanks so much for this, brings the price for the Pro Cooker down from $529 regular pre-tax to 238.66 taxes included, no way I would have spent $500 on another cooker but this upgrades my current model at a great price.

Cambro and or equivalent. Which container I use depends on the size of the foods cooked. Using a single purpose container is not best unless you like boiling a lot of water for small stuff.

Insulation is also desired for longer cooks. I buy Reflective bubble wrap so I can customize it to containers I use.

Ping Pong balls (aka beer pong balls on Alixprs) for water evaporation.

Wide stock pots (There's a minimum depth requirement but beyond that the extra "depth" of tall containers is wasted)
Cambro's with cut out lids or wrapped with foil (For longer/higher temp cooks Ribs/briskets and such)
Basically anything that could hold boiling water, I have used small containers for doing a bag of scallops or a piece of fish and on the flipside the largest container I have used with my anova was a 22L cambro.

I'd like to know too. I use a Cambro with a plastic lid and saran wrap which works, but is cumbersome. The Anova container is awesome but way too overpriced for what amounts to a plastic box with a lid. Should be in the 30-40 range max.

Looks like the ANOVA10 doesn't work anymore, but the sale price is 265.00 for the pro.

I've had the original since Dec 2016, and its been a workhorse, I use mine at least 2-3 times a month.

Anyone know if the cutouts for cooler use of the base and pro models are the same?

The Pro is down to $277.20

Using the code KEEMI20 brings that down to $221.76

That’s a great price for the Pro model.

Does anyone have a sale price history on the pro? I'm currently using the instapot sous-vide but I can't justify the difference.
