Why not just call them and open an account. I didn’t need a referral.

Just contact them. No referral needed.

@junkmail2002 and @vinaymal :
You do not need a referral to sign up with Brock. However, if you have a referral, then Brock pays your one-time registration fee back out to your referring accountant.

In my case, our accountant (established relationship) has a policy of not accepting 3rd party incentives, and so endorsed Brock's cheque back to me. I'd expect if someone is doing this as a service to a fellow RFDer, you'll find some way how to split the refund.

You could check out www.avfs.tax for PHSP's. They are new to the scene but offer same day reimbursements and waive the registration fee (I've been told they will waive it if you state you came from RFD).

Just phone them and ask nicely. They will waive the fee over the phone. No referral is needed.
