Any caravana or vroom service in Canada

Just noticed that a lot of American consumer use the online used car dealer to buy and sell their vehicle, it seems to be a really good idea to make buying and selling so easy, so transparent.
Just wonder any of them or similar operate in Canada? Very interesting business model.

Carity.ca that is what I used to sell mine, they offered as much as I could have hoped to get doing it myself. Super easy service. They do an appraisal, they confirm the offer. They give you an initial offer through the website. In my case they took $150 off for a door ding after appraisal.

I think they are super new though, maybe a couple months, not a lot of reviews yet. I found the staff super friendly and very responsive. I took their cash later option which seems like a good deal given the current climate for selling cars.

Interesting website. Tried estimating a trade in and price seems pretty fair. Also checked out their for sale inventory and seems like they are pricing the cars quite high.

As an FYI Carity is only for the GTA area. Hopefully they’re successful and expand in future.

Do they give you the cheque on the same day as the appraisal? Do they do a test drive?

They booked an appraisal a for a couple days after I asked for one and later the same day as the appraisal I got a contract to sign. They offered to pick it up 2 days later, which didn't work for me, so they came like 5 days later with the cheque. Entire thing could be condensed down to 4 or 5 days I would say, your availability being the largest factor.

They never asked to drive my car. The appraiser turned it on and did a bunch of checks and what not. I am sure it says in the fine print that your car needs to drive properly and that it is mechanically sound.

I think they are looking for cars that can be flipped fairly easily and don't need work. They offered me 30-40% more than any dealer did, and in line with the best tire kickers who had a long list of needs.

Looked at the carity.ca site and decided to input details for the car I just sold. I was only able to get an offer on a clean car with no damage.
Selecting door dings/scratches required further follow up questions from them.
Entering repaired damage of $6k is outside their acceptance criteria at the moment and you can be added to a waitlist.

Nice to see these options though.

Same here. They offered a decent price, one guy came to inspect it for 40 minutes, he didn't drive it, I'm pretty sure he's a pro, and knows judging by the car condition, if it's in a good mechanical shape.
Took a bunch of pics of my dents, its a reality of parking in downtown often, and 2 days later they made me an awesome offer. I accepted it right away.
Funny thing is, because I kept my app logged in for a few days, I know my car ended up at Lecos auto in North York.
3 months later, it's still there, AFAIK. They did drop the price on it a couple of times, but now it's back to $16k.
Obviously, with the new and used car market like we have now, they will sell it eventually.

The appraisal company is one of the same groups that would do third party lease inspections.

How fair is the price, I guess I can't expect it reflect current crazy used market rate.

+1 for Carity. It’s run by a bunch of car enthusiasts that understand the industry extremely well.

They blew me away with offer on my 2018 Pacifica, 38000+ k, however wife would not agree to move it...

They fully disclose what they expect to sell you car for, they have small margins. They posted my car at 18k and have it expected to sell for just over 16k and gave me $14500. I figured 16k was quite reasonable in terms of a sales goal.
