Any charge to invest in investment savings accounts at discount brokerages
The CSA announced the end of trailing commissions for mutual funds held in discount brokerages.

From the G&M article it sounds like only TD will not charge for investing in mutual funds after June 1 2022.
Due to not being able to charge trailing commissions for mutual funds held in discount brokerages, RBC for example is charging a 1% buy commission starting March 14 2022.
I'm wondering if this will affect Investment Savings Accounts?

at RBCDI the fund code RBF2010 is the CDN investment savings account where one can place money to earn a little interest while deciding what to invest in.
If discount brokerages start charging a fee to invest in these, what are the alternatives?
