Sorry that this is late. I know a bunch of people were getting the Vitamix A3300 for $500 on Black Friday. Personally I think that's expensive for a blender. But hey, I must not be the target demographic.

The Vitamix is way more than a mere blender. We love homemade soups. The nice thing is that you add the ingredients and turn it on, 6 minutes later you have hot homemade soup. They are fantastic machines. They are great for homemade ice cream as well.
