Any free unlock code/method for LG G3 ?

I saw a long thread for unlocking Samsung Galaxy phones. Is there a free unlocking code/method for LG phones like G3 ?

By the way, for Bell version, can I assume it still won’t be compatible to Wind/Mobility even it is unlocked ?

Thanks for any advice

The free Samsung unlock has been gone from early jellybean days the best of my knowledge.

As for Bell LG G3 the price on eBay is less than $5 from what I can see.

No free unlock for g3, but can be modified to work on wind once unlocked.

Thanks. Looks like phone manufacterers tend to make two versions of their phones. For Wind/Mobilicity version, once it is unlocked, it can be used for all network. But for Bell/Rogers/Telus version, it needs to be unlocked and modified to be compatible all network......... So annoying..... By the way, for the modification to work on Wind/Mobilicity, is it software or hardware modification ?

Always a software mod. Goes away on update.

You mean once we update the Android firmware, the mod will go away again?

In most phones, yes an Android OS update (or reflashing OS with phone tools) will remove the mod. Have done couple phones (sony) where a factory reset wipes the mod as well.
