I sort of built my dream headset with the following
ATH-M50 headphones
Antlion Modmic
M-Audio Fast Trak for USB sound card
The problem is that the modmic keeps getting tangled and nudged when you move your headset around, which dislodges it from the magnet. It was driving me nuts.
So I switched from the modmic to a Blue Microphone Snowball with pop filter, and now I'm happy with my gaming setup.
