Any issues using corrugated steel siding for a house?

In Vancouver, I've noticed some houses in my neighbourhood are using some corrugated steel siding for fencing or covering small surfaces at the back of the house.
I think its great and I'd like to cover my entire house with that. Can anyone who has done that share their experience in living with that type of siding?

It’s great for that sub-Saharan Africa shanty town look.

Most municipalities have bylaws prohibiting rolls of asphalt or corrugated steel etc from being installed as siding. Senasena posted some high end applications with powder coated finishes etc, might get a variance for that but run of the mill, not SS will get you a violation notice.

Loud as F when it rains, Nissen huts are still used by military in many locations and even insulated its like being in a tin can.
