Any personal experience on protective leather case for Samsung A71?

Trying to find a more reasonably priced alternative for Otterbox.

Any idea, if leather case could realistically protect the phone?
Was looking into this one:

Having said so, if it's not certain to protect, then I would go for Otterbox, as I'm prone to drop the phone due to heavy usage.

It's always hard to tell just from a picture, but to me it just looks like a basic plastic case with a leather wrap. You're paying for looks and feel, not protection, although it still may be good enough.

If you're looking for protection on the cheap, I've had pretty good luck with this style of case (not endorsing the sellers, just a random seller showing the right style) :
