any recommendation for office chair around $100?

my work decides to give us $100 to buy a chair to work from home... but I fail to find anything in that price range that is half decent...
does anyone know of a recommended one at this budget?

I have this one. it's pretty comfortable. You can't sit in it 8 hours at a time (but you shouldn't do that with any chair). But for general office use I like it.

Staples puts these chairs on sale once in a while and if you can find a coupon you can get it for around $100. I replaced the castors with rubber ones to use on my hardwood floors. Good Luck.

A while back I bought a fantastic Northman leather chair from staples on sale from 249 down to 149. quite honestly the damn thing is good value even at 300 bucks...

Look at the staples site, occasionally you get chairs in the 200 to 300 range on sale for about 100 bucks off.

I would top up your works offer of a hundred bucks, and buy something decent

I have this one: https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/millberget ... -00331707/

Hard to find in stock, can use stocktrack to check. Ikea's own "we will email you when available" is total garbage, I got an email a month and a half after I bought it...
It's not bad, but like the other poster, I ordered some replacement casters as the existing ones are shit and won't roll on hardwood floors properly.
Don't fart while sitting in this, it will embed in the pleather. This is likely to happen to all seats that don't have a mesh type sitting material.

My wife and I use the same chairs. We have area rugs under the chair as I noticed it can put a dent/scratch on hardwood. Otherwise pretty happy with it. It is nothing fancy or posh, just run of the mill Ikea which does the job .
