I got the Zenfone 2 (2GB/16GB) for my brother and he finds it quite nice. He came from a Note 2 (Rogers voice-only plan) to the Zenfone (Rogers voice/Tbaytel data).

I haven't heard any complaints about speed, reliability, or stability from him.

I have the 64gb version.

Not many issues really, other than the lack of custom ROMs.

I noticed the Rogers Sim is very thin and tends to slide out of the slot. I had to use a piece of paper to keep it in place.

My slot was a little tight. I have the opposite issue of finding it hard to take card out. I'm used to me s4 with the spring. Why would they put the slot where you have to take the battery out?
Sim 2 slot is in a good place.

Have the 16gb silver model using for 6+ months. Both sim 1 and 2 slots have spring mechanism and the sim cards fit in perfectly. Till now the phone has been holding up well with no issues.

Of note, I hate using phone covers but still the back cover of the phone or the edges do not show a single scratch. Good durable material too imo.
Sorry....yesterday was the deadline for all complaints.

Why not you look at the laser version? The laser version SD slot takes 128 Gb which is a big plus over that of the non Laser version (only at 32 Gb). To me that is a no brainer.

.
I did not have any spring issues for all the SIMS exactly that one from Roam Mobility. Somehow it wouldn't click in and remained loose. I was desperate until I have put my micro-SIM (from tbytel which was not needed in the States) in between the 2 SIMS. Miraculously, that SIM just stayed there doing the job.

I have had my 64GB gold zf2 for about 6 months and have been quite happy with it.

I used to have a Samsung GS4.

This is the most bang for buck phone IMHO.

From what I saw though, Zenfone 2 (any model) supports exfat (required for SDXC >32GB support).

I do not have the laser version. Mine can only accommodate 32 Gb.

You have CM12.1 and likely soon have CM13.

What more do you need?

That's strange. I don't think there is any difference in the microsd slot between the 16gb and 64gb version. I successfully use a Samsung EVO 64GB card in my 64GB model, and I have read that 128GB cards are compatible as well.

All zf2's are microsdxc compatible meaning they support > 32gb.

I have Transcend 64Gb card. It goes in alright physically. But the phone won't detect it.

My 64Gb Trendsend card works in my Huawei Mate 1 st generation.
The phone (Mate) spec states its max limit is 32. In reality, that is not so.
Will another 64 card work in my ZF2? I have no clue.

Make sure the card's not broken- check in the PC, maybe it needs to be formatted.

The card works in my Huawei Mate which I hardly use. Has any forum member been using 64 Gb card in ZF2?

Either that particular card is incompatible or it is defective. Have you tried the card in another device?
