Any Tips for Tremblant

I am heading with the family to Mont Tremblant for a few days next week and was wondering if anyone has any cost saving tips for the week? I am staying at the Fairmont and have already looked at the adventure pass but are doing more of the bigger activities like zip line, Luge etc.
Anyone gone in the summer lately with any advice?

Thanks!

Bring bug spray

In August there will be fewer mosquitos than earlier in the Summer

But they never quite die off there, cuz it never gets hot enough

They’ll be a bigger issue late afternoon and evening

Especially from dusk onwards

This is why we book condos more than hotel rooms at Tremblant
As they have full kitchens
And most come with Gas BBQs
Decent groceries can be got in St Jovite

Otherwise get off the mountain as much as you can
Eats are cheaper ... in Old Mont Tremblant Village and St Jovite (more variety too)

Cheap Activity ...
If no cloud cover
Get away from the village, and look up
Stargazing can be amazing in the Laurentians
And SOMETIMES ... the stars align and in August you’ll see shooting stars
Or luck out with the likes of The Milky Way
Or the Northern Lights (although they are more likely Fall & Winter)

yup, same.
if you have a decent cooler you can pack the meats before heading up and just fire up the grill when you get there.

done that countless times.
