Anybody in the GTA with a Ford TPMS19 relearn tool?

Hi;

I've got some new to me takeoffs for my 2016 f150, and the sensors aren't managing to relearn like they're supposed to. I found the proper method to do so which is easy, but I need the relearn tool, and amazon can't get it to me for a few weeks.

Anybody in the GTA have one? I'd love to swing by and borrow it for a minutes. Can throw a couple bucks your way.

This is the tool?

Yeah, no dice on the deflate method, using either the flashers to initiate the learning, or the proper brake/on/off technique. Dropped 20 pounds out of the left front tire multiple times, and nothing unfortunately.

I have this one https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B076KL ... UTF8&psc=1

I do have the tool you have listed as well, but the battery is failing/failed (purchased it in 2009) and it doesn't always fire properly. The tool above uses a 9V battery which I do have a few of kicking around here.

I'm in Mississauga

Just swing by a tire shop. For a simple reprogram where everything is alresdy on the car and it’s sitting in the parking lot, they’ll just charge $15-20.

Thanks for the offer. I think this will only work with the previous generation f150 TPMS (I’ve got a set of those too on my winters, learned the hard way)

Yeah that’s an option, but I’m not desperate. I’d rather have the tool for the future or give an RFD’r who bought one a few bucks.

Worst case I can turn off TPMS all together like I do for my winters and just forget about it.

I find the Fords where you need to deflate to relearn a pita. Our Ford van at work was finicky about this and had to be redone when ever we swapped winters etc on it. May take a few tries, so make sure you have a compressor around so you can top it off between them, lol... :/

I did it three times from 36 to 20psi... nothing. Do you think I should try more than that? What makes it more annoying is I’m not swapping; I’m putting on a new set it has to learn.

If your sure you did it right and got it horn confirm and the messages (at least the one saying its training), then maybe the new sensors aren't compatible? You need to hit the hazard button 6x, not 3 like that video balance posted, and make sure it says its training.

ps: I thought after 2015 Ford had the auto self relearning sensors?

I tried the 4 ways method - apparently that’s for relearning. I also tried the on/off x3 with the brake pedal, and it did not work.

I tapped into my truck computer and auto learn is turned on; so either the sensors aren’t working/aren’t compatible/aren’t there (was lied to).

What a strange tool. Looks like it just wakes up the sensors to get them communicate with the receiver in the car.
