Anyone been to Carmine's in NYC? Taste good?

Hi all, anyone been to Carmine's in NYC? Does it taste good, how does it compare to restaurants here?

E.g. Scaddabush, Terronis, or Olive Garden

We went to Carmine's at the hotel's bell desk suggestion. We didn't know that it was a tourist's trap at the time, but it was walking distance from the hotel in Time's Square and we had just come in from the mad house as we were stuck at the intersection where the Chelsea market was bombed. It was good food, I had the pizza, it's huge and SO had the spaghetti and meatballs, also a huge portion. Too bad we couldn't take the leftovers, as there was no fridge in the room.

BTW: can't compare to the chain restaurants here. Unless you have a little Italy area. I think Marcello's in Vaughn is the closest you will get, but even then, Carmine's is just huge, with decidedly "American Italian" food, as the sauces are a tad on the sweeter side.
