Anyone familiar with case fan LED wiring? Can I just snip the leads?

Case came with LED fans ... no longer want them.

I am pretty sure it will be cool to snip the leads to the leds, but wanted to confirm that should not damage the fan operation if i do so. I presume they are in parallel circuits from the fan power?

Corsair AF 140s if that matters.
