Anyone familiar with Lowper.ca

Curious as to whether anyone knows anything about lowper.ca. They seem to have decent prices but are also quite new based on their whois.

I like to support independent shops, but I've not found enough to say with any certainty that I'd be safe buying from them, even with Paypal.

Right now, despite saving some money I'm inclined to say no. Thought I'd ask before committing a purchase elsewhere.

I was interested in the Ediifier 1280T. It was either that or the Bose Companion 2 III

The descriptions are ripped straight from Amazon complete with non working "read more" links. Its a very weird mix of items and they have "AmazonBasics" brand things listed and I don't think Amazon sells those anywhere except for for retail prices on their website. I think best case they are ordering you stuff directly from Amazon with stolen credit cards/gift cards... worst case you are getting nothing.

Edit: I'm not convinced the address on the website is even a real place. On Google maps it looks like the buildings go 4683 to 4691, skipping 4685 and the other numbers in between. The buildings in the area aren't big enough for a unit #4695 and they are residential buildings/doesn't look like a mailbox store. If they mixed up the unit and the street address.. there's also no 4695 building.

Edit2: I also find it a bit strange that they are using Shopify but only have PayPal enabled for payments. I don't know why they wouldn't want to accept credit card payments directly (through Shopify Payments) unless they think there's a risk of Shopify shutting them down.
