Anyone having issues with new (2004) Windows 10?

Getting some issues with Windows 10 since it updated to 2004. Get temporary freezing and with my old Thinkpad x201, Ethernet no longer works at all. Ended up ordering one of those Ehthernet to USB doggles from Amazon. Tempted to roll back.

Roll back, the update is buggy as expected and MS has been rolling out fix after fix to get it stable. OR start fresh and go right back to 1909 and only do the cumulative/security updates. I am not updating until end of the year or next year depending how far along their stability is.
Nothing to see here...keep looking.

Appears to be too late for that for me. Could do a reinstall...I'll wait and see if things improve first.

for the network did you try drivers from manufacture, instead of Microsoft drivers or vice versa

Actually wait.

Do you not have anything else to do rather than argue with strangers on the internet
Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.

Upgraded my Surface Go and it has been awful, especially the touchpad. I never know what it’s going to do—sometimes instead of moving the cursor it highlights the page. Or tablet mode stops working and I must reattach keyboard to do a function.

What do you expect to improve over time?

Re-install. Make sure it is a fresh install

The update disabled some of the onboard rear USB ports on my MSI Gaming Plus B450 motherboard. Had a heck of a time trying to get it working again but failed. Tried uninstall usb drivers, updating bios. Ended up using the USB header and case ports for now

Again, I'm just going to set it out for a while and see if patches come. One known issue, btw, is that the disk optimization for SSDs (trim) will run once a week, but that day, it could run multiple times (I counted eight in one day). Have to go in and remove the check for Scheduled optimization.

Could try reinstall. Fresh installs sometimes go bad. If no go there again just put 1909 back on.

My custom PC is ready for the update. Have Microsoft fixed the bugs/kinks? Or should I still hold out on upgrading to Build 2004?

My Acer Aspire x3990 keeps on having the problem of update cannot be completed and rolling back.
This happens in many occasions whenever I power down and later boot up the machine.
I have given up and skipped the Windows 10 (2004) update.

Same thing happened on my Lenovo carbon x1 (3rd gen) yesterday.
From my experience, Windows 10 Update (2004) is quite buggy.

You should just wait. 20H2 will be out in a few weeks

Can you describe your temporary freezing?

I finding that my system is freezing up as well, especially when I open up a folder with a lot of pdf files that show the icon preview. At first I thought it was because I need to upgrade my RAM but now you got me thinking. It was never a problem before.

Hmm, Think T450s here. Did the upgrade, and it has been updated few times since then. I think they are releasing the patches etc.
