Anyone here know their art work?

I have been trying to find out who the artist of this work is.
I have the following and one more that is in a larger frame.

It appears to be paper mache on canvas, encased in a plexiglass case.

Art comes in many forms, just because it doesn't fit into what you believe to be art, doesn't mean it has no worth. ;)

OP, nothing rings a bell...it might be a local, lesser known artist, in which case, you will have a hard time pinning down the actual name. Looks like the initials are EM.

I wonder how long before there will be art made of poo. Why? Because art comes in many forms...

There's very little art in Canada. We don't have many(if any) good painters or sculptors. The garbage we seen as art installation on the streets are beyond testeless. Paintings being sold in galleries are what I could do when I was 3 years old. A lot of stuff is lazy and unimaginative! Nuit Blanche and Outdoor Art Festivals are full of people who don't even know how to draw or create something beautiful. Most just fall under "modern art" which is what any kid 3 years and up can easily do.
It's a shame!
