Anyone recognize this BT USB device?

Given to me, plug it in and nothing happens... Maybe a driver would do it, but haven't clue where to look, not sure if it's a receiver or transmitter of any use at all. The stereo plug might be a clue, but what does it plug into?

if it shows up under device manager. from there you should be able to get some info to look it up. believe vendor id and something else on the same screen. then google that.

it maybe useless now too. bluetooth has been around for a while now

Think I found it. "USB Bluetooth Music Stereo Wireless Audio Receiver Adapter 3.5mm Home Car PC AUX" but the device manager doesn't see it, and without drivers.. likely useless.

It powers via usb but doesn't have any connection to a PC.

I have one of those. Just connect to it via bluetooth using your phone/pc/device and then connect the 3.5mm to an audio speaker device and click play.

Pretty much converts a speaker with audio input to a bluetooth speaker.

@killoverme is right. I have a similar device. That's what mine does. It doesn't need a PC driver. All mine needs is a power source to recharge the internal battery.
