Anyone try Tim Horton's NEW Slow Roast Beef Sandwich

As the title states...I've tried it, not too bad, but $4.99 is a bit steep. Sandwich only includes beef measured, yes measured on a scale with the bun (that's why it took so long) mushrooms, tomatoes and a tartar like sauce and a bun. I've asked my friends/colleagues and no one has heard about it. Funny thing is, i've only seen and bought it at one Tim Horton's in Markham...will post pics tonight...Maybe it's just a trial run?

See, I thought you meant a regular roast beef sandwich that takes a long time like everything else at TH's

I've tried it and really liked it - the one I tried had a more horseradish-y sauce and the beef was so soft. Yum!

They definitely don't have these here in Mississauga

I'd get one!

That's the sauce I meant!...couldn't think of it originally.

They do at the Eglinton Ave. location (between Dixie & Renforth).

I've uploaded the pictures...anyhow, just wondering if Tim's is just sporadically testing out the market for this sandwich...

I hate Tim HOrton's sandwich because I really hate their bread. Does anyone actually like the bread or maybe I just keep getting bad bread.

It's also here in Scarborough. Or atleast the one I went to.

I believe it was $4.99 for the sandwich.

Edit: You either have big hands or that sandwich looks really small!

Their bread is pretty good when it's fresh. Unfortunately, it's usually stale & cuts up the roof of my mouth like broken glass.

I'd like to try it, but it's not that easy to find a Timmie's around here.

I like them but they are rather small. Last time I bought one, they forgot to put the top part of the bun on it, so it was like a messy sandwich  .
