But WS would require me to open a new account with them right?

I have investment accounts with TD and CIBC. What if I want to transfer everything from CIBC to TD? Anyway to do this without incurring fees?

Ask the receiving bank to pay the costs. If the amounts are large enough, they will do it.
Koodo $40/6GB
Public Mobile $40/15GB, $35/20GB, lot less with rewards

I don't see this offer anymore. Way back (probably more than 10 years), RBC offered me 1% of the investment I transferred over from TD, plus paying me the cost of transferring. Then 6 months later, TD called me and offered if I move my money back, they will give me 1% plus the cost of transferring. Since then, I didn't get any more of such offer from either of them.
