APC SurgeArrest surge protectors - various

Deal Link:
Retailer:
APC
Noticed various APC SurgeArrest surge protectors on sale at the APC Canada site. Most (with a few exceptions, like the P3U3B) appear to be cheaper than Amazon. Here's a sample list of some of the items on sale. Unfortunately, I'm not sufficiently well versed to be able to recommend one over another. Shipping $3 (for my 1 item, may depend on location, YMMV), and I believe most (if not all) have standard lifetime warranty.

P6W SurgeArrect 6 outlet, wall mount, 1080J - $6.90 **

PE66 - SurgeArrest 6 outlets 6ft cord, 1080J - $8.90

PE76 - SurgeArrest 7 outlets 6 ft cord, 1440J - $10.50

P8U2 - SurgeArrest 8 outlets 2 USBs, 2630J - $23.75

P8GT - SurgeArrest 8 outlets, phone protection, 2160J - $24.25

P11VT3 - Surge Arrest 11 outlets, phone (splitter) & coax protection, 3020J - $31.00 *

P11U2 - SurgeArrest 11 outlets, 2 USBs, 2880J - $40.00 *

P11VNT3 - SurgeArrest 11 outlets, phone (splitter), coax & ethernet protection, 3020J - $40.00 *

* Note: Others stores, such as Costco may be cheaper
** From APC user manual: "Use only with a duplex receptacle that has a center screw."

Thanks, I didn't know.

Good price for this "special" protector. Turning on/off a device can control other devices. e.g., turning off a PC could turn off speakers.

Thanks OP, I actually had one in my Amazon cart for $44, this post had me check out the same one on Costco and I saved $10.

PS: coax protection is worthless.

I wouldn't put too much faith in these.
I have a few P11VNT3 units and a power surge last year resulted in one dead device, albeit other devices didn't appear to be affected.

My friend @westom can explain more.

Thanks for pointing this out! These switching power supplies are handy for preventing phantom power draw. I had a few of these for years, they don't seem to be as common now. Picked up a couple.

I want to pull the trigger on this so bad, but I just have like zero need for any additional power bars, up voted for good prices though.
