Lumafusion $27.99 on Apple App Store

I have it and love editing on the go. Bit of a learning curve but there is also talk of FCP coming to the iPad but I’m not holding my breath with Apple on that one. This one is a great buy

What’s FCP?

I wanna pounce on this Lumafusion deal, but knowing it has gone to 14.99 USD before, even if it is a rare occurance, I kinda wanna wait since I do not yet edit alot of videos (but will be soon). Be a good RFDer and convince me to push that buy button lol.

Ah thanks.

Doubt they could squeeze a full version of FCP into the Ipad, with only 6GB of RAM in even the latest version.

I personally don't use an iPad but by looking at how well they manage memory usage with the rather small (compared to other phones) 3GB of ram is pretty impressive so I think they'd be able to manage it in the iPads, especially the Pros.

When the tech YouTubers all came out with their various "reviews" of Lumafusion on the iPad Pros and eventually some did some comparisons to the MacBooks it's pretty obvious how powerful Apple has made their processors, so while a full fledged video editor like FCP and Premiere from desktop might be a little sluggish if you take out some of the less used things and optimize it for the iPads they can definitely deliver a working product.

Remember Apple has the advantage of making the hardware and software (both iOS and FCP) so they optimize it specifically for each device.
